The appliance starts working when the light switch is turned on and, when switched off, stops after a pre-set number of minutes. This delay time ranges from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 30 minutes. The delay can be adjusted using a small knob installed inside the appliance.

When the exhaust fan is not in use, the automatic shutter prevents cold draught and unpleasant smells from entering the room and avoid heat loss in winter.

The automatic shutter is controlled by a thermoelectric mechanism that opens the shutter approximately 30 seconds after the exhaust is turned ON.

When the fan is turned off the shutter closes automatically after a time lapse of approximately 30 seconds.
